Give it a go and let me know how it performs. From what I recall from the Iceberg Table announcement, they said they were able to get similar but not quite as good of performance using Iceberg Tables as the native Snowflake tables.

The biggest cost in the context of the 1 billion row challenge is getting the data into the format or table. The queries are super fast.
